Luis Cervanpes scored two goals to lead Calhoun to a 5-0 shutout over Sonoraville. The Lady Yellow Jackets also shut out Sonoraville, 3-0.

Arturo Rodriguez, Alex Hernandez and Eric Moreno each scored one goal for the Jackets. Goalkeeper Rene Hinojosa had two saves and Eric Murillo had three saves.

In the girls’ match, Sonoraville’s goalkeeper Araceli Macias made 18 saves.

Calhoun will next play in a tournament at Jekyll Island. Sonoraville next plays Trion on Tuesday.
