Several games were postponed Friday as Floyd County was hit with thunderstorms for most of the day.

In baseball, Rome High’s game against LFO will be played today at 6 p.m. at Riverview Park, and Temple will host Rockmart at 5:30 p.m. Other baseball games postponed were Coosa vs. Sonoraville, Chattooga vs. Pepperell, Dade County vs. Gordon Central and Armuchee vs. Adairsville. No makeup dates have yet been set for these games.

In soccer, the Rome High girls’ match against Calhoun will not be rescheduled, and a makeup date has not been set for Adairsville’s boys match against Gordon Central.
