Rain washed out several events in Walker County, scheduled for Thursday and Friday.

LaFayette's home baseball game against Darlington was postponed on Thursday, as was their scheduled home game on Friday against Trion.

No makeup dates had been set as of press time.

Gordon Lee's home baseball opener against Heritage was washed out and will be made up on March 18 at 5 p.m.

The track meet at Gordon Lee was also postponed on Thursday, as was a scheduled golf match for Gordon Lee and LaFayette at Battlefield Golf Course.

Friday's rain has also cancelled Ridgeland's baseball game at Northwest Whitfield. The two teams will attempt to make up the game on Saturday starting at 5 p.m.

Ridgeland's soccer matches at Central-Carrollton on Friday have also been cancelled due to rain.
